Dental Hygienist

I grew up in Latvia and had a wonderful opportunity to come to the US in the late 90s. Since then my life has never been the same! The first several years away from home were hard but meeting wonderful people here made it all worthwhile.

Back home preventive dental care didn’t exist, and the quality of dental treatments was very poor. Needless to say, I ended up with a lot of dental issues by the time I was a young adult. After being educated about my oral hygiene and making regular cleanings a priority, I noticed a huge difference and have not had any issues since. I chose to become a dental hygienist to be able to apply my passion for improving oral health in others.

I got my hygiene degree from IUSD and joined the office in 2009. I feel passionate about what I do and really enjoy connecting with people and changing their health for the better.

Now you know, if I spend a lot of time in the chair talking about your oral hygiene it only means I care. I’ve had every procedure available done on me, so ask away! – chances are, – I’ve been in your shoes:)

I enjoy coming to work and catching up with my patients (some have become good friends over the years) and working alongside such fun and gifted individuals. And just when I thought my life couldn’t get any better, I met my husband, Kevin, and had my wonderful daughter, Anya, several years later. She is truly my “cherry on top”. My life is too good to be true and it all started with me coming to this wonderful country.
